Rahul Prabhakar Sanap- Founder, Durvankur
Rahul Prabhakar Sanap, the Agri savvy, is the founder of ‘Durvankur’– an e-commerce portal for Agricultural Products that helps the farmers in reducing the input cost and generating gross revenue stream. Rahul belongs to the family of Farmers- his father is a progressive farmer in his village, which describes Rahul’s natural interest towards the agricultural industry.
After accomplishing the graduation in B.Sc. (Agri) from Rahuri University, his father- Prabhakar Namdeo Sanap, enrolled him into the mission of ‘Educating and Encouraging 10 Lakh Indian Farmers to Increase their Profitability‘. The Agri-Expert has done MBA (IB), MBA(Marketing) in 2011.
His mission ignited his passion to incept India’s first professional e-commerce portal for Agricultural Products that will enhance the productivity. The testimonials by his clients owe him gratitude for helping them earn extra profits by leveraging ‘Durvankur’s Innovative Products.
He looks up to his mentor- Mrs. Ashwini R Dhuppe, who is a Life Coach & Chairperson at ‘ARD Sewah Education Hub Pvt Ltd.’, and considers Mr. Sagar Agarwal as his idol, who is the CMD Finanthropist.
Taking us through his entrepreneurial journey, Rahul shares, “According to me, there is no such thing as ‘struggles’ that exists in this world; all is just the mind set one perceives”.
Adding further, he admits, “Every day, we face new challenges and I foresee them as opportunities, which always strengthen my instincts towards achieving success”.
Looking back, he says that incepting his e-commerce website for farmers in India and supplying material to rural regions had itself been the biggest risk for him, as no one stood by his side while he was developing his business plan. It was his crystal clear vision about what he was doing and for whom he was taking this stand; that kept him chasing his dream so anxiously.
With 4 years of expertise in business and 8 years of rich experience in the industry, the son of a progressive farmer, Rahul Sanap, analyzed massive opportunity in the agriculture sector. Operating from his gut, he figured out that the current generation is a Tech savvy and by following the path of technology, he ventured into agri- products which will reduce the input cost of farmers in terms of capital & efforts, and eventually aid them in hitting the gross profits.
